The Chhota Char Dham Located in the Garhwali region of the state of Uttarakhand, the circuit consists of four sites—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. The Char Dham is a term which is used for the pilgrimage of the four sacred temple or sites of Hindus in Uttarakhand named Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath & Badrinath respectively. In Hindu religion, ‘Char Dham Yatra’ is a sacred trip of four most revered temples of India which includes Badrinath, Dwarka, Puri and Rameswaram but the circuit of ‘Chota Char Dham Yatra’ is different from main char dham yatra and is situated only in Uttarakhand.
These four temples are situated in four different directions of Uttarakhand and are dedicated to different god and goddesses. The holy tour begins from Haridwar. On arrival at Haridwar proceed towards Guptkashi. After reaching Guptkashi complete your check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. Later, get ready for your medical check-up for the next day's trip to Kedarnath. After the medical check-up return to the hotel. Enjoy a delicious dinner at night and have a sound sleep.
Break your night long fast at the hotel and check-out. Head towards Gaurikund, which is the central base from where the trekking begins for the Kedarnath shrine. Treat your eyes during the trek by enjoying the stunning views around. After reaching, check-in to your Government camp or cottage. Enjoy dinner at night and get over the travel fatigue with a refreshing sleep.
Wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and visit the Kedarnath shrine around 4:45 am to attend the Abhishekam, the early morning rituals for the almighty. Offer prayers and seek blessings of the Supreme Being. Post-Darshan, return back to your government camp or cottage. After mounting your luggage, trek back to Gaurikund and travel to Guptkashi. on arrival, complete the check-in formalities and relax. Have a delicious dinner and surrender yourself to the bed.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan - Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spots like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and “Mukh of the Saraswati River” Just within the three kms of Badrinath. Dinner and Overnight stay at Badrinath.
Morning enjoy the after breakfast, drive for Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Visit on the way Darshan of Vishnu Prayag, Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, and Nand Prayag. Check into the hotel arrival in Rudraprayag. Dinner and Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel. Transfer to Rishikesh. On the way visit Dev Prayag. After arriving Rishikesh visit the major attraction- Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, the two hanging bridges. Later in the evening head towards Haridwar railway station for your journey back home.
