Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, proceed to your boarding point for an AC Volvo bus for an overnight journey to Shimla.
Chitkul
On arrival in Shimla, meet our representative for a tour briefing and transfer to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border.
Enjoy a scenic drive through lush forests, apple orchards, and rugged Himalayan landscapes, passing through Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr.
Upon reaching Chitkul, enjoy a meal at the famous “Hindustan ka Aakhri Dhaba”. Check in to your hotel or homestay for an overnight stay.
Nako
After check-out, drive towards Nako via the beautiful Kinnaur Valley along the Indo-Tibet Highway. Witness the confluence of the Spiti and Satluj rivers at Khab Bridge.
On arrival, check in to your hotel and explore local attractions including Nako Monastery and the serene Nako Lake. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Kaza
After breakfast, drive to Kaza. En route, visit Gue Monastery, home to a 500-year-old naturally preserved mummy.
Continue to Tabo Monastery, often referred to as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas”. Later, visit Pin Valley National Park, known for its rare wildlife including the snow leopard.
Arrive in Kaza and check in to your hotel or homestay for an overnight stay.
Kaza
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion around Kaza.
Visit Komik, one of the highest motorable villages in the world, followed by Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office. Continue to Langza Village, famous for its Buddha statue and fossil sites.
Later, visit Key Monastery and Kibber Village, and explore the iconic Chicham Bridge. Return to your hotel in Kaza for an overnight stay.
Kalpa
After check-out, drive towards Kalpa. En route, visit Dhankar Monastery, beautifully perched on a cliff overlooking the confluence of rivers.
Continue your journey via Powari and Reckong Peo, the main town of Kinnaur district. Arrive in Kalpa and check in to your camp or homestay for an overnight stay.
Shimla
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Shimla along the scenic Satluj River and dense deodar forests.
On arrival, you will be dropped at the Shimla bus stand to board your return bus to Delhi, marking the end of a memorable Spiti Valley journey.
